Aug 1, 2020 marked 50 years since the formation of the Lutheran/Methodist Parish in Woonsocket, the first of its kind in the state of South Dakota. A beautiful, hand-written record from the start of Bethany Lutheran Church, dated 1906! (Presumably) written by the first pastor, P.E. Bongsto, who served Bethany from 1907-1912 and is mentioned by name in an entry from 1907. A stunning artifact of the legacy that is Spirit of Faith.
